Directing
I started directing right at the beginning of my career, working with community and youth groups, before co-founding a devised theatre company in 2013. 'AndOn Theatre toured several original works on the fringe circuit for about 5 years, including two Edinburgh runs at the Pleasance, and a Best of the Fest award at the International Youth Arts Festival. Taking a pause to return to studying, I returned to directing in 2019, undertaking assistant and associate work and in 2022 joined the team at London's Witness for the Prosecution, where I reside as associate director. Take a look at a selection of my other past and current shows below.

Voice and Accent
I hold an MA in Voice Studies from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and have worked a numerous training institutions including ArtsEd and Urdang. I was Head of Voice and Vice-Principal of the Musical Theatre Academy until its closure in 2022. I regularly coach actors in voice and accent for stage and screen, as well as private coaching.

Voice and Accent Workshops
As professional voice users, our job is to teach, present, train, coach, preach, perform or instruct in as engaging a way as we know how. We also need to be able to do that day in, day out for (potentially) hours at a time. That's no easy thing to do. I offer bespoke voice and presentation coaching workshops and masterclasses to suit both a business or creative peer group.
Equally, sometimes accent can be 'the thing' that captures your interest. Whether you're a community theatre collective, University society or group of friends with a shared passion for accent and dialect work, I offer tailored workshops to suit your wants and needs.

Voice and Text Coaching for Actors
Whether we have many years of voice training behind us or none at all, we invariably encounter stumbling blocks and new challenges, or would simply benefit from another eye (or ear) on our craft.
If you might benefit from help with text/acting work, audition preparation, breath work, vocal dynamism, vocal safety and sustainability please get in touch by clicking the icon below. All my sessions are bespoke to your needs, wants and learning styles and are typically online for your ease and comfort.

Accent and Dialect Coaching
Need to sound Irish for that audition tomorrow? Never felt completely secure with your American accent? Or simply want to add to the list on your acting resumé? Get in touch by clicking the icon below to arrange a private, friendly, bespoke session suited to your accent needs and learning style*. Sessions typically take place via Zoom.
(*Whilst I'm generally happy to coach any accent required, I will occasionally refer you to one of my many wonderful colleagues if I feel they would be more experienced or better suited at the intricacies of that particular accent profile.)
Get in touch for more details of what I offer, my pricing, and to ask any questions.
Writing
I read Drama and Creative Writing at Kingston University and began writing for the stage almost straight away, co-writing three original works which toured to fringe and education venues across the UK, including two runs for the Pleasance at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014 and 2015. My first play, Bits & Box (co-written with Ray Hunwicks) won the inaugural Best of the Fest award at the International Youth Arts Festival. Since then, I have focussed my writing on literary adaptation, with 9 commissions to date. In 2020, I wrote my first short film, Things That Grow, which went on to receive numerous awards.
Take a look at some of the titles I've adapted below, and download this info pack if you're interested in reading or staging one of my scripts.
