Josh read Drama and Creative Writing at Kingston University and began writing for the stage almost straight away. He co-wrote three original works which toured to fringe and education venues across the UK, including two runs for the Pleasance at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014 and 2015. His first play, Bits & Box (co-written with Ray Hunwicks) won the inaugural Best of the Fest award at the International Youth Arts Festival. Since then, Josh has been commissioned to write several literary adaptations for the stage. In addition, he was writer and dramaturg for a devised project performed at the V&A Museum. In 2020, Josh wrote his first short film, which went on to receive numerous awards. 

Josh is currently working on his first original play since 2015.
